Hey, I just realized something. My blog is almost one year old!! Can you believe that? On December 1, it will exactly be one year old.
In the period of two weeks, a lot has happened. Why is that??
First of all, I qualified for the finals of Magniloquence: the Iskolar ng Bayan Speaks! It's an impromptu speaking competition held by the UP Rhetoricians. I passed the elimination (big whoop), but now, I'm going to the big event!! Scary, actually, when I stop and think about it.
Second, we went on a fieldtrip to, well, Bay, Los Baños for DEVC10. We got to experience being rice farmers (thanks to Tatay Doro!), we trekked Mt. Makiling barefooted (the mud was unbelievably slippery on our feet!), and we DEVC10-Y people bonded a lot on the whole trip (killer killer!!). Here are some pics:

Here's the rice field we went to. Butch, may ahas dyan!!!
Kuya Linus, me, and Joseph. Three of the rare guys in DEVC10!! Karl, where you??
Listening to Tatay Doro. Did you know that farmers like them only earn Php 30 a day? That was shocking.
You can check out the other pics in my Friendster profile.
Third, we got a new episode of R.E.M.S.!! It's still in Mini-Stop, though. We weren't able to go to the Layb. But still, we got a glimpse at the new dance craze: the Sandy Dance!! I'll create another post for that.
For now, this is all I'm saying. I'll create new posts maybe next week, or possibly tomorrow night. Rowan out.
