finally!!!
I've been having a hard time trying to post on my blog. Everytime I try to log in, the page cannot be found. Darn it.....
Well, I'm back in school. Hooray.....
....and it's exam week. Another hooray.....
Have I mentioned that I got contact lens already? It's rather irritating at first, but, well, it has its rewards. For one thing, I don't have to bother cleaning my glasses. My eyesight won't be obscured by scratches on the lens anymore. On the other hand, it takes longer to put my contacts on, and when I do it wrong, it irritates my eyes. ffff....
Oh yeah, and I got waitlisted in Ateneo. Danna got in, but my application is still on the danger zone. What is stopping them to accept me? I got good grades, I think I did well on the ACET. Maybe it's because I applied for the full scholarship.......well, anyway, Dad wants me to go to UP, and I agree with him. It's just rather downing and insulting that I got waitlisted....
Going to another topic, the cheering competition is near! It's the time of the year again for practices under the blazing sun, issues about choreographers, costume payment tantrums, and that all-important year-level rivalry!!
Our batch, Seniors 2007-08, is the DEFENDING CHAMPION of the cheering competition. We wowed the crowd (wow, it rhymes) even since we were in first year. We were the first to do so in Atheneum. We lost in second year, but that was due to some complications. We snatched the crown back anyway last year. Now, we want to graduate with three wins in our record, so the pressure is set so high. To graduate undefeated (virtually) is our goal.
Of course, coming with the cheering is the big Atheneum sportsfest! Our batch is REALLY undefeated in the sportsfest, and our basketball team is the most revered and feared team in the school, having won EVERY GAME they played. I guess one secret to our batch's success is our stong unity and support to each other. This year is no different. As I said, to graduate undefeated is our goal, and we will achieve it.
